How do I get onto the Register?

Click on the Join Register link that is displayed on the left of this webpage, and fill in your application details. Once approved, you will be granted access to the Register Log In area, to allow you to enter your coaching credentials for others to see.

How much does it cost to get onto the Register?

A lot less than you might think!! Click on the Join Register link that is displayed on the left of this webpage, and the various "easy to budget" rates are displayed.

What is it?

The Register has been created with a view towards forthcoming international regulation of the coaching industry in order to create a database of all individuals who currently coach. This database will be made available to all government departments and police authorities throughout the continent's. This register will also greatly assist consumers when choosing a coach.

Why does it exists?

Following months of research and correspondence, the ECI has been invited to create this International Register in order to facilitate a smooth transition when forthcoming international regulation on coaching comes into effect. The register will be made available to regular government departments and police authorities worldwide.

It has also been determined that finding a coach is causing considerable problems for consumers. This register will greatly improve access to professional coaching for all, by all.

Why should I join?

The ECI have taken on the onerous and difficult task of creating, building and managing the register on behalf of the coaching industry. It therefore behoves anyone who calls themselves a coach to be on the register in order to show that they have nothing to hide, and that they are willing to be transparent and visible.

What are the benefits?

If you are an accredited member of the ECI you will automatically be included on the register at no extra cost. If you are an associate member of the ECI you will be able to select whether or not you are included on the register at no extra cost. There will however, be a small administration cost for those who are currently nonmembers of the ECI.

In addition to making this register available to the public via a search, you will be entitled to receive an ECI's newsletter, discounted entrance into Local Events, Conferences and opportunities for networking.
